The Crusties
The Crusties formed around
1983 in Milwaukee, and immediately gained respect from local fans, who
were essential to our modest success.
Our melodic hardcore includes occasional trumpet licks, fire breathing,
and chainsaw destruction, all from our front man Tim.

the Hardcore scene choke on it’s own apathy, whilst drowning
in complacency, weighed down by self-righteous indignation fuelled
by an unsustainable rulebook and clique mentality, The Crusties
are back to reclaim Hardcore scene for the true believers. Fusing
eighties brutality with quirky, offbeat and incredibly catchy
songs buoyed by a level of musicianship and melody that’s
almost non-existent within the hallowed halls of twenty first
century Hardcore. “Rats Revenge” expands on the blueprint
the band laid down throughout the eighties and nineties, creating
a sonic attack designed to once again make punk rock a threat,
challenging the narrow confines of genre and established ideas
of how a punk rock record should sound, and in doing so, reveals
the underground’s longest, best kept secret. The Crusties.
With the world going to hell in hand-basket and a multitude of
fingers hovering over the big button, it’s time to let the
secret out of the bag before it’s too late. It’s time
